John P. “Jack” Carney
John P. “Jack” Carney AAMS (Accredited Asset Management Specialist) has over five years experience in wealth management and financial planning. He earned Bachelor of Arts (Business Administration) and Master's of Business Administration (MBA) degrees from the University of Washington (1971 and 1978) with concentration of studies in finance, business economics and quantitative analysis. Prior to becoming a financial advisor, he completed a 26 year career at the University of Washington, managing health care, medical research and education programs.
Jack believes the goal of financial planning is to provide a means of achieving independence: independence from a job or career (retirement or change); independence from uncertainty about funding the cost of health care; independence to make choices when encountering unexpected changes in life circumstances.
Jack specializes in analyzing pensions, both government and corporate, for clients who are planning for retirement income.
